Mojolio is built so that your privacy is protected by architecture, not by promise.
Mojolio has no account system, no advertising, no analytics, and no servers of our own. We do not collect, transmit, store, or have any access to your notes or personal information.
Your notes are ordinary Markdown files stored in a folder you choose. They never pass through any Mojolio server, because none exists. If you sync your notes, that syncing is handled entirely by the service you choose — such as iCloud Drive, Syncthing, Dropbox, OneDrive, or Git — under that service's own privacy policy.
Some features use Apple frameworks that run entirely on your device: on-device OCR for searching text in images, the camera for document scanning, and Face ID / Touch ID for the optional app lock. None of these send data anywhere.
